Crafts & DIY: Creative Living with Intention
Creativity, for me, is about so much more than simply making something. It’s a chance to slow down, use my imagination, work with my hands, and bring a little more beauty and joy into everyday life.
This is where I share the Crafts & DIY projects that happen in real life, the ones created around the kitchen table, during quiet afternoons, while decorating our home, preparing for VBS, getting ready for the holidays, or simply because I felt inspired to make something.
It’s not about having the perfect craft room, buying the most expensive supplies, or making everything Pinterest perfect. It’s about creating with purpose, trying new things, and enjoying the process along the way.
Here you’ll find a little bit of everything, including:
- Simple and budget friendly craft ideas
- DIY home décor that adds warmth and personality
- Cricut projects for your home, gifts, events, and everyday life
- Seasonal and holiday crafts and decorations
- Faith inspired projects
- VBS crafts, decorations, and creative ideas
- Handmade gifts for the people you love
- Creative projects you can enjoy with your family
- Easy projects for beginners and experienced crafters
- Step by step ideas you can actually recreate at home
Some projects will be quick and simple, while others might take a little more time. I’ll share what I used, how I made it, what worked, and even what I would do differently next time. My hope is that these projects give you ideas you can take and make completely your own.
These aren’t crafts created for perfect photographs or perfect homes. They’re projects meant for real life, things you can actually use, display, give as gifts, create for your church or community, and enjoy with the people you love.
I’ve learned that creativity isn’t about comparison or doing things exactly the way someone else does them. Creativity is about expression. It’s using what you have, learning something new, experimenting with different ideas, and creating something that feels like you.
So grab your Cricut, pull out those craft supplies you’ve been saving, or start with whatever you already have around the house.
You don’t have to be an expert to create something beautiful or meaningful.
Sometimes the smallest creative moments, sitting at the kitchen table with a project in front of you, can bring a surprising amount of joy, purpose, and peace into your everyday life.
